紀伯倫（Kahlil Gibran）-Children－偶素張小解。

最近讀了幾本親子書，蔡穎卿小姐寫著"媽媽是最初的老師"，"我的工作是母親"，"在愛裡相遇" ;龍應台的"孩子你慢慢來"。

這幾本書，我深深感受到父母親對子女的愛。(這幾本書不刻版談教養，但字裡言間身為父母的他們以生活以身教，為子女做了最佳的示範)

我希望自己也能盡心盡力的愛妳。

懷孕時，幾次媽麻跟爸拔聊到學習，聊到對妳的期盼，媽麻總是說，最重要的是妳快樂!

希望妳是個善良溫暖開心的孩子。

媽麻會一本初衷的不以成就來評斷妳。

愛妳，不用任何理由。

今天讀到這篇文章，寫得真是太棒了!!

你們的孩子，並不是真的是你們的，
乃是生命為其本身所渴望而降臨的。
Your children are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of Life's longing for itself.

他們是憑藉你們而來，卻不是從你們而來，
他們雖和你們同在，卻不屬於你們。
They come through you but not from you, And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

你們可以給他們以愛，卻不可以給他們以思想。

You may give them your love but not your thoughts, For they have their own thoughts.

你們可以庇蔭他們的身體，卻不能庇蔭他們的靈魂，

You may house their bodies but not their souls, For their souls dwell in the house of to-morrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.

你們可以努力去模仿他們，卻不能使他們來像你們。
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.

因為生命是不能倒流的，也不與昨日一同停留。
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.

你們是弓，你們的孩子是從弦上發出的生命之箭矢。
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows

弓箭手看到無涯道路上的標記，他以神力將你拉彎，讓祂的箭走的又快又遠。The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.

請在"弓箭手"的手上欣喜的彎曲!
Let your bending in the Archer's hand be for gladness;

因為祂愛那飛馳的箭，也愛穩當的弓。
For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.
